Some say that the community would like to have 35th Street named after the godfather of soul.

I am a 54 year old, Afrian-American female who grew up listening to James Brown in the 60s and 70s. When I was happy, I'd listen to JB; when I was sad, I'd listen to JB; when I was..., I'd listen to JB. BUT OF COURSE, naming a portion of 35th street after the late JAMES BROWN should be considered. He has been inspirational to tens of thousands throught out the years and desirves no less recognition.
