Hi Keith and Leonard:

Keith, this is to Confirm that I have talked with Beula Jones in Mel Monroe's Campaign Office and confirmed a date for a "Meet the Candidates" as Mel has requested our organizations to arrange on January 18th at 7:00 pm at the Bronzeville Community Club House 3847 S. Giles Ave. 60653.

We will invite all the candidates at Mel's request as well as the community to participate. This also confirms that this is a non-partison sponsored meeting and is being arranged for the pure benefit of the community at large .

By copy of this e-mail I am requesting that Leonard McGee's group, "The Gap Community Organization" join us. If they choose to participate that will necessitate changing venue's if Leonard can get ITT or another suggested venue if the Gap chooses to participate.

This effort would however be a good sampling of our neighborhood community organizations and should bode well for all of us involved in the process.

I would like to get together on Wednesday the 20th at 6:30 at BCCHouse and talk again Wednesday the 27th to nail down all the picticulars as to how we want to approach the evening. I know the process can be easy and smoothe we just have to get the communications out.
