The 2nd annual New Schools EXPO is this Saturday! Parents for School Choice would like to encourage you and anyone else you know who is looking for a new public school to come to the EXPO this Saturday, January 31st from 10am to 3pm at Soldier Field (1410 S. Museum Campus Dr., Gate 6, Indoors & Heated).
At the EXPO, you will have the chance to meet the leaders of 90+ new elementary and high school campuses, pick up and fill out applications on-site, attend educational workshops, and receive assistance on how to interpret school data. Many of the schools on hand offer small classes, longer school days or years, a college prep focus and unique themes.
The workshop topics include:
· Where to Begin? Evaluating School Models
· School Choice & Children with Special Needs
· Parents as Educational Partners : Getting Involved Before & After Enrollment
· What Makes a Charter Public School Unique
