Central Arms Hotel Court Date  Alderman Dowell has been working closely with Commander Terence Williams of the 2nd District to address resident concerns regarding the Central Arms Hotel located at 520 East 47th Street. After several investigations and inspections, the City's Corporation Counsel decided to pursue both building code and criminal violations through the court system. The criminal case against this business establishment begins on April 18th at9:30 am at the Daley Center in Courtroom 1111 before Judge James McGing. The 2nd District is providing three buses to transport residents who wish to attend the court proceedings.  We do not know when the case will be called on April 18th, so we will have a group attend in the morning  and another group attend in the afternoon.  If you are interested in attending the morning session (bus will depart at 8:30 am from the 2nd District Police Station at 51st and Wentworth), please contact Officer Sanders at (773) 302-6211.  If you want to attend the afternoon session (bus will depart at 1:30 pm from the 3rd Ward Office at 5046 S.
