The current US recession has many businesses on the ropes. Small businesses in particular are feeling the burden and increased pressure as credit lines are being suspended without notice, loan requirements stiffen and clients and customers struggle. Small businesses are feeling the brunt—they still have to manage and meet their cash flow needs and many need to consider exit strategies.

The Women’s Business Development Center, along with its partners, is hosting an educational forum to assist small businesses. We encourage you to participate and benefit from the wisdom of these experienced experts.

The forum has engaged experts from the Banking Industry, Insurance/Bonding, Attorneys, Accountant/Consultant, Retail Consultant and Turn Around and Reorganization and Bankruptcy Specialists to provide advice and perspective on options and solutions for small businesses in these challenging times.
Special remarks by:
Jack Lavin, Director, Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity; to provide the State’s perspective on the economy and its impact
Terry Savage, President, Terry Savage Productions; to provide a National perspective on the state of the economy
Emilia DiMenco, Executive Vice President of Business Banking, Harris Bank will moderate and facilitate panel discussion
