Childhood & Secondary School Fair

Greetings South Side Community Members and Leaders,

The South Side Parents South Side Early Childhood and Secondary School
Fair is coming up in just over a week on October 23, 2007.

The School Fair is being held at the Donoghue Campus of the University of Chicago Charter School located at 707 East 37th Street, Chicago, IL [the intersection of 37th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue].

Attendance at the Fair is free and open to the public between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm!

At last year's Fair, we had over 30 schools to participate and over 130 families attended. This year, some of the schools that have confirmed
that they are attending include: Latin, Frances Parker, Morgan Park
Academy, Ancona, South Loop School, the Donoghue Campus of the
University of Chicago Charter School, Near North Montessori School, the University of Chicago Laboratory School, the Hyde Park Parent Coop, St. Elizabeth School, the North Kenwood - Oakland Campus of the University of Chicago Charter School, and Andrew Jackson Language
Academy.

Also, Arne Duncan, CEO of the Chicago Public Schools is expected to attend this year's School Fair!
